Privacy

The short version: no cookies, no ads, no tracking across sites, and we never sell or share your information. The only personal information we keep is your email address, and only if you give it to us.

If you subscribe to the weekly brief

• We store your email address, when you subscribed and confirmed, and whether you’re still subscribed.
• We use it only to send the weekly brief and the one confirmation email. Nothing else.
• Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you straight away.
• Emails are sent through Resend, which handles delivery for us.

If you suggest an estimate

We store what you send (the name, number, link and notes) so we can check it. Your email address is optional, and if you give it we use it only to follow up on that suggestion.

Visiting the site

• No cookies. The site doesn’t set any, and nothing on it does either.
• Page-view counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies, without fingerprinting and without identifying you.
• We also count a few events ourselves (a signup, a confirmation, an unsubscribe, a suggestion, an API call, a badge load), recording only the event, the page, your country and the website you came from. We don’t store IP addresses or anything that identifies you.
• The signup and suggestion forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. It works without cookies and isn’t used for advertising.
• The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver it, like any web host.

What we never do

No advertising trackers, no selling or renting data, no sharing your email with sponsors or anyone else.

Deleting your information

Email questions@pdoomtracker.com and we’ll delete your email address and anything else tied to it.

The data on this site

The estimates we publish are public statements by public figures, linked to their sources, and licensed under CC BY 4.0. That license covers the estimates, not anyone’s personal information.
